(b. 1975, in Humpolec) graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and also from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics, Prague. He has been working with Kříž & Bělina since 1998, initially as a junior lawyer and later as an attorney-at-law.
Orientation
Jan Sviták specialises in commercial law and financial law. His practice includes extensive commercial and investment projects, the management and performance of legal due diligence in companies and corporate issues. He applies his specialist expertise when providing legal advice to clients in the negotiation and execution of contracts and in the drafting of contracts, particularly contracts for works, including implementation and in analysing lender/borrower relations and their securitisation. His most frequent assignments include legal services to entities operating on capital markets and in the banking sector and to other financial institutions. He also draws on his legal and economic expertise when analysing and assessing legal documents and procedures. He applies tax and accounting knowledge in the legal advice he provides to businesses and in the drafting of contracts.
