(b. 1972 in Sokolov) graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague. During his studies he attended a one-semester course on commercial and European law at the University of Limerick. He then followed a Master’s degree course and post-graduate doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of Charles University, begin awarded his doctorate in 2002. He has been working with Kříž & Bělina since 1995, initially as a junior lawyer and later as an attorney-at-law.
Membership
He is an Arbitrator with the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic. He is a vice chairman of the Czech Bar Association’s Control Council and acts as a disciplinary prosecutor in disciplinary proceedings before the Senate of the Czech Bar Association’s Disciplinary Commission.

Petr Poledne specialises primarily in commercial law and court and arbitration proceedings. He is the co-author of the Large Commentary to the Civil Procedure Code (Drápal, L., Bureš, J. a kol., C. H. Beck, 2009). He has extensive legal experience from extensive commercial and investment projects, acquisitions made by foreign investors in the Czech Republic and court proceedings in which he has exercised rights under contracts. He applies his expertise and experiences in the legal due diligence of major Czech and foreign companies and in the process of the negotiation, execution and review of contracts.
